Here is a look at the eight-step journey we take with every client to ensure their new home is exactly what they imagined.


The Initial Meeting

Everything starts with a conversation. We know you have questions about construction timelines, costs, and feasibility. During this initial Q&A session, our goal is simply to listen. We want to understand what type of home you’d like to build, your lifestyle needs, and your budget. This sets the foundation for a transparent relationship where you feel informed and confident right from the start.


Lot Evaluation

Once we understand your vision, we need to see where it will live. If you already own land, we will meet you on-site to evaluate the topography, utilities, and potential site expenses. This is a crucial step to avoid surprises later on. The slope of the land or the location of utility hookups can significantly impact your build.

Don’t have a lot yet? No problem. We can refer you to experienced real estate agents who know the Lehigh Valley market and can help you find the perfect setting for your new home.


Home Plan Design

For many of our clients, this is the most anticipated phase. This is where your dream starts to take shape on paper. We pride ourselves on a collaborative design effort involving you, our building team, and our design partners.

We don't just hand you a catalog of cookie-cutter plans. We work with you to tailor a design that fits your specific needs. Do you need a mudroom for muddy paws? A chef's kitchen for holiday hosting? We listen to how you live and ensure the design reflects that.


Grading Plans and Permitting

While the design phase is creative, this phase is all about logistics. Grading plan requirements vary depending on whether you are building in Bethlehem, Easton, or a surrounding township. Our engineering partners provide the necessary plans to satisfy local municipalities. We handle the paperwork and obtain all the necessary permits so you don’t have to worry about red tape. We ensure everything is compliant and ready for ground-breaking.


Estimate and Financing

Transparency is key to our family values. Once the plans are set, we lay out a detailed estimate and provide a fixed-price contract. You will know exactly what you are paying for, with no hidden costs.


Building a custom home involves complex finances, but we help simplify that too. As preferred builders with several Lehigh Valley banks, we can assist you in securing the lending you need to move forward comfortably.


Selections: The Fun Part

Now comes the part where your house starts to feel like your home. From exterior siding and stone to interior fixtures and flooring, this is where your personal style shines.

We know the sheer number of choices can feel overwhelming. That’s why our supply partners and design specialists are there to guide you. They use their deep product knowledge to help you make selections that are not only beautiful but also durable and within budget. We work hard to keep this process organized and enjoyable, ensuring your selections come together cohesively.


Construction

For us, this part is second nature. We break the construction phase down into manageable stages so you can see consistent progress. From the moment the foundation is poured, the entire process takes approximately six months.

During this time, our attention to detail is paramount. We treat every project as if we were building it for our own family. You’ll see us on-site, ensuring the framing is precise, the mechanicals are installed correctly, and the craftsmanship meets our high standards. We keep you updated throughout the build so you never feel out of the loop.


Completion and Closing

We believe in finishing strong. Our goal is to hand over a home that requires no "punch list"—meaning no list of repairs or unfinished items for you to worry about after moving in.


Our consistent effort to avoid loose ends throughout the build means that closing is a smooth, celebratory transition. When we hand you the keys, we want your only concern to be where to put the sofa, not whether the trim is painted correctly.
