Q&A- We get an understanding of what type of home you’d like to build and answer your questions about construction and cost.

Lot Evaluation

A meeting at your lot to evaluate topography, utilities and potential site expenses.  If you don’t own a building lot, allow us to refer an experienced real estate agent.

Home Plan Design

For many, this phase is highly anticipated. It’s truly a collaborative effort between client, builder and our design partner.

STEP

Grading Plans / Permitting

Grading plan requirements depend on the municipality or township, our engineering partner provides plans accordingly, allowing us to obtain all necessary permits.

Estimate / Financing

We layout a detailed estimate and provide a fixed price contract. As preferred builders with several Lehigh Valley banks, lending assistance is available.

Interior / Exterior Selection Process

From exterior finishes through interior fixtures, our supply partners and design specialists use their knowledge and guidance to keep the selection process enjoyable.

Construction

For us, this part is second nature. Broken down into phases, the whole process takes approximately six months from when the foundation is poured.

After talking with several contractors, we chose Yelinko Builders to build our house.
For every crazy idea we had for our house, they and the designer they work with had the wisdom and the can-do attitude to tell us how it could work – or how it really couldn’t. We needed and respected that forthrightness and honesty, and often they had suggestions that could get us there. On the rare occasion they hadn't done something before, they were more than willing to find out how to do it well.
The building site was always very clean, and they were extremely conscientious about keeping us informed about what was going on, especially during the pandemic. It was not unusual for us to visit the site on a Sunday only to find Bob or Mike there doing something that shouldn't wait, like sweeping rainwater off the subflooring after a rainstorm. The Yelinkos are perfectionists, painstakingly making sure that the banister supports were exactly straight and evenly spaced, but also so flexible that we were able to add doors even after framing was completed.
We have lived in our house for three years now, and we couldn’t be happier with the craftsmanship and attention to detail shown by these brothers, their father, and their subcontractors.
